Who are you, what’s your background?
I’m Danny Luke, managing director at Quick Move Now. We’ve been buying properties with our own cash funds since 1998, which we believe makes us the UK’s original cash home buying company.
Where is your company based?
Our office is based in Royal Wootton Bassett, in Wiltshire.
Where do you purchase property?
We can purchase properties anywhere in England or Wales.
What are your company’s core values?

What are the company’s biggest challenges?
The biggest challenge we face as a business is the cash buying industry’s bad reputation. As an unregulated market, there are still lots of companies who simply can’t deliver on the promises they are making customers.
What’s the most unusual property you have bought?
It’s difficult to think of a particularly unusual property we’ve bought, but the cheapest one was a two-bedroom terraced house in Bishops Auckland that we bought for £12,000 (photo below).
What’s the key to running a successful property business?
Providing a high level of customer service and offering a service that offers real value. It’s also vital to keep an eye on the wider market and adapt to meet the changing needs of your customer base.
Where do you see the Professional Property Buyer industry going?
I would love to see a further raising of standards in the property buying industry. I think it’s incredibly important that businesses are held to account when they mislead or let customers down, which is why we’re proud to be member of the NAPB.
