What kind of clients do you work for?
We do little marketing as we are quiet specialists and find that word of mouth coupled with our NAPB marketing generates client leads to keep us busy: where we focus mainly on the BMV market and providing fast liquidity to BMV firms and or their clients
What sets SPF apart from other asset management companies, what’s your USP?
We are not from a banking background and as such feel that we understand our clients better than perhaps more corporate lenders; our credit committee meets daily and we pride ourselves on a fast turnaround. Our jokes are also likely better than those that work at large corporations…
What marketing strategies bring your clients to you?
Clients find us when they peer review their competitors, via the NAPB or simply word of mouth
Which service is most in demand among your clients?
A fast, low hassle, 100% Loan To Purchase Price (like LTV, but to purchase price), BMV offering, followed by ad hoc bridging loans for non-BMV purposes
What do clients most like about what you offer?
No RICS surveys addressed to us, further introductions (lawyers and the like), 100% LTV
What is it about the service you offer that most people are surprised to learn about?
100% LTV
What role does customer feedback play in your business?
We listen and try to adjust what we do to fit our client’s requirements, not trying to get the clients to fit ours …
Do you have any plans to expand the services you offer?
we regularly provide bespoke deals to those that don’t fit our ‘standard’ terms: essentially we have to keep evolving as the property market changes and as competitors turn up etc

My clients love how they can talk to me, I, with a select few close colleagues make the decisions here and I enjoy really feeling like I can get to know the people I work with. Clients tell me all the time how other lenders have a “computer says no” approach – well here its refreshingly different. To anyone who hasn’t used us before I say – “give us a try, there really is nothing to lose .”
